Garage is a mobile app for identifying and collecting the vehicles you spot. These terms cover the Garage app, this website, and the services that support them. Garage is operated by Nawras M. Amin, an independent developer based in Quebec, Canada, using the brand name Varmada (“I,” “me,” or “Garage”). Varmada is a brand name, not a separate legal entity.

Using Garage means you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled; accepting these terms does not replace any separate consent required by law.

Billing and cancellation · Your content · Ending use · Consumer rights

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required where you live, to use Garage. If the law where you live requires a parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the service or agreement to these terms on your behalf, you must obtain it before using Garage. Any parental or guardian consent required for personal-information processing or purchases must also be obtained before that processing or purchase. Do not create an account or submit captures if you do not meet these requirements.

Use an account and sign-in method you are entitled to use. Keep them secure, provide accurate account information, and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person or choose an abusive or misleading username.

2. Collect safely

Photograph vehicles only where it is safe and lawful. Never use Garage while driving, enter private property without permission, interfere with traffic, or put yourself or another person at risk to make a capture. A vehicle appearing in Garage does not give you permission to approach, touch, or photograph it.

Respect vehicle owners and bystanders. Do not upload private documents, people's personal details, or content you do not have permission to use. Avoid including faces, license plates, home addresses, and other identifying details when they are unnecessary.

Do not use Garage to identify or track a person, reveal someone's private whereabouts, or facilitate harassment. A capture location is a record supplied by a user, not an invitation to visit that location or a representation that a vehicle is still there.

3. Identification and progress

Garage combines automated AI identification with a vehicle catalog. Results can be wrong or incomplete, particularly for similar generations, trims, modifications, and model years. Specifications, rarity, prices, and other information are estimates or reference information, not a vehicle inspection, appraisal, ownership record, or safety assessment.

Do not rely on Garage for buying, selling, insurance, repairs, legal compliance, or other decisions requiring verified vehicle information. Verify important details independently.

A capture may be unmatched, saved as pending, or reviewed before it is credited. Catalog entries, identification results, XP, medals, and rankings may be corrected as errors are found. Collectibles and energy are features within the app; they are not ownership of a real vehicle, a financial asset, or a promise of cash value.

In-app progress and energy cannot be redeemed for money or traded outside features expressly offered by Garage. Changes to game balance do not remove any legal rights connected with a paid purchase. Contact support to report a mistaken identification or progress calculation.

4. Free access and Premium

Free accounts have a limited energy balance that refills over time. Your current balance and the features available to you are shown in the app. Some features require an active Garage Pro or Premium entitlement.

The purchase screen and the store's confirmation show the plan, billing interval, price, currency, taxes where applicable, and any trial. Those details control your purchase. An annual price is charged for the year, even if an equivalent monthly amount is also displayed.

Paid access is for ordinary personal use. Do not automate captures, resell access, share credentials to evade limits, or bypass payment checks. Access remains subject to outages, security controls, and these terms; “unlimited” does not authorize automated or abusive use.

5. Billing and cancellation

Purchases made through Apple or Google are billed through your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal deadline shown by the store. A trial, when offered, changes to the paid plan shown at checkout unless cancelled in time. Eligibility and timing are controlled by the store.

Manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. For Google Play, open Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancel before the store's deadline; waiting until the last moment may not prevent a renewal charge.

Check the store's confirmation for the renewal date and trial cancellation deadline. Cancelling a trial can end trial access immediately under the store's rules. A promotional price applies only for the period stated in the offer; the subsequent price must be disclosed before you agree to purchase.

Deleting Garage, logging out, or requesting account deletion does not cancel a store subscription. Cancellation normally ends future renewals, with access continuing for the remaining paid period, subject to the store's rules.

Ask the store that charged you about refunds and billing disputes. Store policies and your mandatory consumer rights determine refund eligibility; these terms do not remove those rights. Contact support if a confirmed purchase does not unlock access. Restore purchases using the same store account and the app's restore option where available.

Restoring a purchase does not create a new subscription. If you use multiple store accounts or platforms, check your existing subscriptions before buying again. Rights to a refund, withdrawal, cancellation, repair, or another remedy under applicable consumer law remain available; an exception for immediately supplied digital content applies only when its legal conditions are met.

Changes to recurring prices follow the store's notice and consent rules. If paid features change materially, you will receive any notice or remedy required by applicable law.

6. Your photos and content

You retain whatever rights you have in your photos and other submitted content. You grant Garage a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to copy, upload, store, process, transform, and display that content only to provide, secure, and maintain the service you use. Garage may authorize its service providers to perform those tasks for it. This includes recognition processing, making stickers, syncing your collection, displaying the profile information described below, and reviewing identification issues.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit content. This permission does not give Garage a general right to use your private photos in advertising. If you share something outside Garage, the destination's rules apply, and other people may keep copies.

This permission lasts while the content is held for those purposes and ends when it is deleted, except for limited retention or use required or permitted by law as described in the Privacy Policy. It is not permission to ignore an erasure request or retain content indefinitely. AI outputs may be inaccurate, similar to other outputs, or subject to third-party rights; Garage does not guarantee that a generated image or description carries exclusive intellectual-property rights.

7. Leaderboards and fair play

Your chosen username, sign-in profile image when available, XP, and rank may appear to other signed-in users on leaderboards. Choose a username and profile image you are comfortable showing there.

Do not harass users, upload illegal or infringing material, probe other accounts, disrupt the service, scrape private information, falsify captures, exploit bugs, or use bots to gain progress or paid access. Reasonable restrictions may be applied to prevent abuse, and progress gained through cheating may be corrected.

Do not distribute malware, bypass access controls, evade a suspension, or extract Garage's catalog or artwork in bulk for resale or a competing dataset without permission. These restrictions do not remove rights that the law expressly gives you, such as permitted interoperability work or lawful security research.

To report harmful or infringing content, email support with the username, capture reference, or other location of the material, the reason for the report, and enough information to contact you. A rights holder or authorized representative should identify the rights concerned and explain their authority. Garage may restrict access to reported material while investigating and may suspend repeat infringers. If action is taken against your content or account, you may contact support to explain or challenge it.

8. Garage and third parties

Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive permission to install and use Garage on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use, subject to applicable store usage rules. You may not resell the app, claim ownership of its branding, or copy or modify protected service materials beyond permission given by Garage, an applicable licence, or the law. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences.

The app's code, artwork, Buddy character, and branding remain with their respective rights holders. Vehicle names and manufacturer marks belong to their owners; their appearance does not imply a partnership or endorsement. This agreement does not transfer your rights in your submitted photos to Garage.

Sign-in, maps, stores, hosting, and AI services depend on third parties. Their availability can affect Garage, and their terms apply to your separate use of their services. Links do not imply endorsement. These terms do not transfer Garage's legal responsibilities to those providers.

For an App Store download, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a custom licence is supplied through the store. These service terms supplement the applicable store licence and do not replace it. Garage, not Apple or Google, operates the app and provides its support. Mandatory store terms and legal consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Ending use

You can stop using Garage at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email garage-support@mail.varmada.com from the address associated with your account when possible. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion.

Access may be restricted or ended for serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, or urgent security concerns. Where practical and permitted, you will be told why and can contact support to challenge a mistake. Required consumer remedies still apply if paid access is affected.

If Garage discontinues the service or materially reduces a paid feature, it will provide the notice and remedies required by law. Ending access can make your collection unavailable; request any available copy of your personal information before deleting your account. Account deletion, suspension, or closure does not itself cancel a store subscription.

Provisions concerning accrued payment obligations, ownership, lawful retention, responsibility, and dispute rights continue after use ends to the extent needed for their purpose. They do not extend the content permission beyond section 6 or remove your privacy rights.

10. Availability and responsibility

Garage is provided on an “as available” basis. There is no promise that every identification will be correct, every vehicle will be supported, or the service will always be uninterrupted. Features may evolve, and maintenance or third-party failures can cause downtime.

Your mandatory legal rights take priority. Nothing in these terms excludes legal warranties, remedies for defective or misdescribed digital services, responsibility for fraud or intentional or gross fault, liability for bodily or moral injury where protected by law, or any other responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited.

For users outside Quebec, and only where applicable law permits, Garage disclaims implied warranties beyond those required by law and excludes liability for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business profits or opportunities. This paragraph does not apply to Quebec consumers and does not excuse Garage from responsibilities imposed by Quebec consumer law, including responsibility for its own acts or those of its representatives.

There is no compulsory arbitration clause, class-action waiver, or contractual shortening of statutory claim periods in these terms. You retain access to competent courts and regulators.

11. Updates and questions

Changes will be dated on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel before taking effect when required. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights already earned. If a change needs your consent, it will be requested.

Permitted updates may address new features, security, legal requirements, or service operation. A revised page alone does not authorize a change prohibited by law or an undisclosed charge. Any required advance notice, right to reject a change, or right to cancel without penalty remains available.

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live. This choice does not remove any right you have to bring a claim before a court with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

These terms, the applicable purchase disclosures, and any feature terms specifically accepted by you govern the service. They do not exclude binding pre-contract information or representations that the law protects. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it on another. Any transfer of Garage's operation remains subject to your existing legal rights and the Privacy Policy.

A French version is available. Where Quebec law requires that version to be provided before an agreement in another language, that requirement applies. No clause here makes English prevail over mandatory language rights.
